Steve Schaefer

Steve Schaefer

Steve is the General Manager of Lone Star. He assists customers with food equipment and restaurant supply for over 20 years. His work experience includes store manager at Acemart, selling everything from bakery equipment to ice machines. He previously opened a coffee house in 1993 and has worked as a store manager. He is Lone Star’s project manager for numerous Austin customers including Mangia Pizza, Threadgill’s, Eddie V’s, Z-Tejas, and Tiff’s Treats.

Denis Charbeneau

Denis Charbeneau

Denis joined us from Hotel & Restaurant Supply in Memphis Tennessee effective January 2008 as an inside sales person. During his employment with Hotel & Restaurant Supply he has worked with a variety of Restaurant and institutional accounts, helping customers determine which restaurant furniture, food equipment, and restaurant cookware would work best for their application. He has experience with independent restaurants and chain accounts such as Sonic, Ci Ci’s Pizza, Cozy Mels and others. He is a 25 year industry veteran having worked for S.E. Rykoff – John Sexton Company – Phoenix, AZ, and Watson Food Service – Dallas, TX.

Don has 20 years of sales experience in hospitality and food service. Don has helped countless restaurants and convenience stores with their equipment needs. Don specializes in commercial restaurant kitchen equipment, including Scotsman ice machines, walk in freezers, True refrigeration, and other commercial coolers. Don has serviced customers like Masala Wok, Easy Stop, 1 Stop grocery & convenience, Buffett Palace, Casa Garcia, Mi Famila’s Grocery, and 3rd Base Sports Bar.

Richard has 30 years experience in the Restaurant Equipment business. He has worked with many “newcomers” as well as multi-unit customers. Richard has 25 years with Sysco Corporation specializing in “Business Development”. He graduated from The University of Houston School of Hotel & Restaurant Management. He also played Football for the Cougars in the early 70′s. Richard has worked with accounts such as: Joe’s Crabshack, Minutemaid Park, Lakeside Country Club, Adam’s Mark Hotels, and many others.

John Lawson

John Lawson

As manager of LoneStar’s Used Restaurant Equipment Division, John contributes to our unique process of refurbishing equipment through his experience in cross technologies for methods and procedures improvement. Our mechanical wizard has 25 years of management experience in a variety of fields, including oil field drilling and coring technologies, aircraft engine rebuilding, and infrastructure restoration. John is re-defining the processes used to remanufacture restaurant equipment while producing a new standard of quality in the finished product presented for resale. John has restored used restaurant refrigerators, used restaurant ovens, concession equipment, and used ice machines.

Paul Henley

Paul has been a contributing influence in Restaurant Supply business in Central Texas since the early eighties. He was one of the founding employees of ABC Hotel and Restaurant Supply in the 1985 and served as the General Manager prior to starting his own Restaurant Supply Company in 1987. Paul served as the Vice President of Central Texas Restaurant Supply Company from 1987 to 1990. He was also instrumental in bringing Ace Mart Restaurant Supply to Austin Texas in the early eighties and served in a management role for over 19 years. He also was a manufacturer’s representative for Scotsman Ice Machines. Paul re-joined LoneStar in the fall of 2009 and his broad industry experience enables him to be a very valuable resource for the customers we serve. Some of the notable projects Paul has been a part of are: the Kerbey Lane Café, Magnolia Café’s, Chuy’s/Comida Deluxe as well as the Headliners Club and Baby Acapulco’s to name a few. Paco Arechiga

Paco has a 20 year background in food and beverage service management. He has worked at hotel properties for Hyatt in Dallas and Hyatt, Radisson and Omni in Austin. Additionally, he managed restaurant locations for Black Eyed Pea, Grandy's, Golden Corral, Taco Cabana, Jack In The Box and Taco Bell in the Austin area. Paco totals nine years experience in the sale and distribution of food service equipment & supplies. Eight of those years were with Ace Mart, including six as manager for one of their Austin locations. He currently works with several customers including Cover 3 and Cover 2, Brick Oven, and Schmidt's Family BBQ.
